Musician, Author, Poet, Mentor, Man

Lee Underwood -- lead guitarist for Tim Buckley from 1966-1973, author of Blue Melody: Tim Buckley Remembered, composer of at least 3 albums of piano and guitar, former West Coast Editor of Down Beat Magazine, published poet, and artist -- has given us a review.

Though very few people may know about The Seeded Planet, this means the music is reaching people in a way that's ultimately more meaningful than a record deal or a blizzard of iTunes downloads. This means that the music has been Understood.

If you are a fan of Jeff or Tim Buckley, or both; if you are interested in the Venice and L.A. of the late 60s; if you want to read about artists and musicians who took it all the way to the edge and beyond, you Must read Blue Melody.

Also, some of the best ambient music for guitar I've ever heard, 'California Sigh,' written and performed by Lee Underwood and produced by my favourite ambient artist, Steve Roach, will soon be available on Amazon, iTunes, etc. Get it. And any other titles you can find by Lee. Music is rarely recorded with this depth and care anymore. Listening is like reading a Haiku carved in ice. Time passes. But the listening experience is outside of time. And the mind is left refreshed, open, ready for the next poem. The next new moment.
